Our story is deeper than just sound - it’s about preserving feeling, character, and connection in an increasingly digital world.
Like many music lovers, I still wanted to listen to my records. But I didn’t want to drag out all the old gear just to hear them. When I looked at what was on the market, there was only one option - but it worked solely within a single brand’s ecosystem and cost nearly £500. That didn’t sit right with me.
So, I did what many tinkerers do: grabbed a Raspberry Pi, some cables, a few audio interfaces, and started experimenting. Over the course of a few weeks, I cobbled together a rough solution - just something that could make some noise, somewhere. The moment I first heard my records coming through wireless speakers? Pure elation. That was it. That was the moment I knew it had to become something real.
I’ve spent years as a sound engineer for some of the world’s most renowned bands - chasing perfection in every frequency, every mix. Alongside that, I’ve worked as a product developer at Tiger Global (now rebranded as Justgood), a company that partners with major brands like Costa and Pret a Manger to develop sustainable consumer products and bring responsible ideas to market. It’s a place where practicality meets purpose - and where I honed the skills needed to turn an idea like A2D2 into something real.
A2D2 was never about jumping on a trend. It was about solving a real problem with heart. About respecting the richness of analogue while embracing the flexibility of modern tech.
Today, A2D2 Stream stands as that solution - a small device with a big mission: to bring the warmth of your favourite records into every corner of your home, effortlessly.
